5th Annual F & I War Game Weekend
@ Fort Loudoun, Pa
April 6-8, 2018
Your F&I unit is invited to attend the fourth annual F&I war game weekend. As in the past we will have different scenarios with objectives to be accomplished by all who take the field. These objectives will encompass the 200 acre site, testing your unit's resolve through its rather unforgiving terrain.
Judges will be embedded with units while in the field and our established rules of engagement will be in place. The ruling of all judges is final.
Separate camps will be established for the different forces, British/Colonial, Native and French.
Quality firewood, water and bathroom facilities will be provided.
In order to start things off a bit differently this year the War Games officially begin at 6:30 PM on Friday (after the officer meeting outside the fort at 6:00) and will end on Sunday at 2 p.m. to allow for travel time for those coming some distance.
Set up begins at 12:00 noon Friday April 6th. Don't worry, late arrivals will be accommodated and directed to camp site.
The overall winning force will be determined and announced on Sunday afternoon before the break of camp.
Once registered you will receive an email closer to the date of the event with more details of weekend activities.
Military protocol will be in force throughout the weekend, officers and NCOs should be shown the respect given their rank.
Friday evening officers meeting will take place promptly at 6:00 pm and at least one officer from each unit must attend. Meeting location is just outside the fort gate.
For questions or concerns please contact: Larry Gorecki at: [email protected] or Andy Newman at: [email protected]
